  5. Use the file menu to open, close, import and export files.  You can also print and set your preferences for how certain things work.

  9. Finish with the current dialog to use the File menu to open, close, import, export or print documents.

  11. This menu will create a new (empty) document, though first a dialog will appear asking you to choose a template or default document to base the new document on.

  15. This menu item will bring up a dialog to choose a document to view and edit.
